The Old School Bus 

The Old School Bus offers guests a truly unique accommodation experience. Overlooking the Wollemi National Park with views to Mt Irvine, the Old School Bus provides everything you need for a relaxing break away. Transformed from its original layout, the bus provides –

2 x luxurious single beds with electric blankets (linen provided).

Shower with hip bath.

Reverse cycle air-conditioning.

Smart TV and complimentary guest internet.

Small kitchen with fridge, microwave, plugin electric hotplates and electric frypan.

Outdoor area with BBQ and fire pit.

Access to the courtyard herb and vegetable garden – guest can pick and enjoy the produce.

Guests are also provided with the following items in order to prepare their own breakfast/s-

Farm fresh eggs, bacon, bread, muesli, juice, fruit, yogurt, jams, milk, tea, coffee and additional incidentals provided in the fridge and on the kitchen shelf.

PRICE/S –

$250 for one night

$400 for two nights

NOTE – a dinner pack can be provided (7 days notice) for guests to prepare themselves and includes – assorted cheeses, dips, crackers etc – steak, sausages, salad and potato bake (both pre-made) sauces, bread rolls etc at a cost of $35 per person

The Knight Bus 

The Knight Bus offers 6 guests the opportunity to experience shared accommodation in a friendly and unique space. Transformed from its original layout, the bus provides –

6 luxurious single beds (linen provided)

Reverse cycle air-conditioning

DVD TV

Outdoor kitchen with fridge and microwave.

Outdoor area with BBQ and fire pit.

Guests are also provided with the following food items – 2 x cereal varieties, milk, bread, butter/margarine, jams, tea and coffee.

PRICE/S – $100 per person, per night

NOTE – a dinner/breakfast pack can be supplied (7 days notice) for guests to prepare themselves and includes – assorted cheeses, dips, crackers etc – steak, sausages, salad and potato bake (both pre-made) sauces, bread rolls + farm fresh eggs and bacon, at a cost of $40 per person.

Blue Apple Lodge

Located within very easy walking distance to BMA, this lovely cottage is suitable for couples. Fully self-contained, including all the basics and you can self-cater or add a catering package to your BMA booking and enjoy the dinner and breakfast package. NOTE only available if you have friends/family also staying at the Knight Bus or Old School Bus.

My daughter and I came to stay at for a special girls’ weekend to celebrate my daughter turning 13. We were thrilled with our stay in the Old School Bus.

The bus has a vintage charm about it, and everything was sparkling clean. We had all we needed for our stay, from the well-stocked fridge with fresh eggs, bacon and strawberries, along with plenty of pantry items, to the comfortable and cosy beds (the bedroom was our favourite space to relax and just look out the window, or read). The owners had even left a special birthday card and box of chocolates for my daughter as they knew we were coming for her birthday. This was such a lovely added touch which was much appreciated.

Imogen is already keen to visit again in the future! We hope to be back one day.

The Old School Bus is hands down the best AirBnb I’ve stayed at. Such joyous character coupled with thoughtful amenities highlighted just how much effort the hosts have gone to ensure a comfortable stay.

The beds are super cosy, the towels are fluffy and fresh and the breakfast supplies are plentiful. We loved roasting marshmallows by the fire after cooking up a bbq dinner, and overlooking the sun kissed hills from the drivers seat in the mornings. Highly recommend a stay here in Bilpin, we will definitely be back!
